This day of filming did not go very well. I started late due to issues with the actors (there were tears). My plan was immediately killed.
We started at about 1pm 3 hours later than anticipated but managed to catch up with ourselves by about 4pm (through shear hard work). Then when filming the scene at the station ( a runing scene) Arthur dropped a large rock on his foot. Filming that scene had to be scraped. I then tryed to film the train stuff as it was all sitting down but Arthur was too tired and too upset to co-operate.
We did, however, manage to make it to Crosby beach with spirits slightly higher. We were running slightly late and for the first time I truley appriciated the phrase 'We're losing light!' but fortunatley as we crossed the sand dunes we were presented with a beautiful sunset. Then ...
the video camera batery died ... if looks could kill.
Arthur then proceeded to cut his hand open on a broken wine bottle on the beach. The day ended as it had started - with tears.
