Filming (Day 2) !

The feeling among the actors was not great after the fun filled adventures of the first shooting day and principal cast member Arthur (aged 8) realised the power of the phrase 'I'm not doing the film unless...'.

Due to the disaster of the battery dying I had to add going back to Crosby beach into todays filming schedule. Once again we had to be there for sunset.
I managed to film the scenes on Fulwood park and Aigburth Road with relative ease but then after a slight break we returned to Crosby for sunset. The train journey was usful as I re-shot the stuff in the train station and on the train.

Once on Crosby beach the luck of the day seemed to change yes there was a beautiful sunset and amazing sandy spectacles but the wind was so intense it was difficult to stand. The part of the scene in the sand dunes had to be moved to the beach due to a mini 'sandstorm'. Arthur once again effected as he emerged from the sandune his whole face covered in sand. I managed to just about get the shots I needed and I we went home.
