I first decided on the exact story and how I would show it through the shots. I told my actors, when they would be needed and what I wanted them to do. I then decided on locations. I really wanted to shoot on the roof of a building in Liverpool town centre but after contacting the building manager I discovered that it wouldn't be possible. I decieded to shoot by the river instead.
These were the main things I thought about before shooting!
